This backyard had solid bones - a pool, some open space, mature landscaping - but it wasn't really working as a place to spend time. The concrete was dated, there was no real cooking or entertaining setup, and the different areas of the yard felt disconnected. That's a pretty common starting point for us.
What we ended up with is a yard that actually makes sense. Fresh stamped concrete ties the whole space together - from the pool deck all the way out to the lounge and BBQ areas. The texture and color we used give it that clean, finished look without feeling too formal. It holds up well outdoors and it's a big visual upgrade over plain gray slab.
The outdoor BBQ setup was built right into the patio - a solid masonry counter with a grill station that gives you a real cooking area, not just a portable grill sitting on the concrete. That kind of built-in setup changes how you use the yard. Instead of hauling things in and out, everything is already there and ready to go.
The pool remodel pulled it all together. With the new coping and surrounding concrete done right, the pool looks sharp against the mountain backdrop. The lounge seating area sits on its own slightly elevated section of the patio, which gives that zone a nice sense of separation without any walls or fencing breaking up the space.
When all three elements - the concrete, the BBQ station, and the pool - are designed to work together, the result is a backyard that functions the way it looks. This is the kind of work we do best.
